This is my second trip to this annual gathering here at California’s Salt Lake called Sakton Sea

When I was a teen we used to stop here on our way to the east coast, camp and fishing for a few days.

I will take a ton of pictures and make some videos too this week and put them up on YouTube and flicker.

Love him or hate him, think he can do our US economy any good or not, there is one thing for sure, people and companies are cashing in on Obamanomics in a big way.

MSN Money Blog contributor Todd Harrison’s post(written by Minyanville Contributor Tal Pinchevsky) Obama swag stimulates economy shows a few examples of companies making it big and riding the “Obama is good for our bottom line” wave. Companies such as The New York Times, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Banana Republic and the list goes on.

With sold out copies of news papers, logo changes and even font following these are just a few examples. Last I looked Twitter listed him as having by far the largest following (though that is not an actual monetizer just yet but it is capital in tweetland)

Get yourself to start thinking out of the Oval and think about how you too can monetize your blog because of this history making president. I am sure he would be the first to say thank you for doing your part to stimulate our economy.

Ask yourself in what way can I tie into this trend with my blog and make it pay?

If nothing else he may add a few new readers to your blog just because you wrote a halfway decent post and used his name and maybe his picture…with a US flag

So put a pic of the prez in front of you and ask him to pony up for you and your blog.

Not many people can make a bold claim to the world that they feel confident that they are responsible for making more millionaire’s than anyone else alive today.

As I make my rounds to blogs I am reading recently I came to a few conclusions about commenting and have written 13 of them out for you to give some thought to.

1. It is easier to make a comment about a very well crafted, researched and thought out post than to go to all that work yourself.
2. You will see the post from other sets of eyes-points of view- and this will expand your thinking about the authors effective ways to connection of the ideas to the readers.
3. It is easier to make a comment about a very well crafted, researched and thought out post than to go to all that work yourself.
4. Comments are the second plot of land on the Idea Farm.
5. It is easier to make a comment about a very well crafted, researched and thought out post than to go to all that work yourself.
6. Top rated  bloggers visit other top rated blogs and comment, this is a way to see how they comment themselves.
7. It is easier to make a comment about a very well crafted, researched and thought out post than to go to all that work yourself.
8. Other top rated bloggers that visit top rated blogs will read your comments and you will get noticed.
9. It is easier to make a comment about a very well crafted, researched and thought out post than to go to all that work yourself.
10. You will see how the author’s ideas are viewed by his/her peers.
11. It is easier to make a comment about a very well crafted, researched and thought out post than to go to all that work yourself.
12. It is a good study in brevity. Saying the most with the least, like Twitter.

When I was a teen we moved as a family between the east coast and the west coast, I went to a different school after each move. Somewhere along the line I decided that not getting to know anyone was the best course for me. I would be a loner and have held on to that my whole life. I have a small group of friends and a smaller number of very close friends. It has worked to a point in my life yet…

I always have had this passion for being a contribution, to being someone who had a positive impact, who raised the quality of life of the lives of people I interacted with.

My plans, dreams, thoughts have been around this theme in my life. Books I want to write, programs to put in place, people who need to be connected together. All of it has been because I want to help.

And then I come up against “I am a loner” remember.

One thing blogging gives me is a way to say what I want to say, market it and hope it lands where it can be of value. That what I say in some way causes someones life/business to move in a forward direction.

And I have had this dream of being a successful on line marketer who makes his living from actions taken on the net. I have failed miserably at that over and over. I have put in the activity and missed on the productivity. Yet I still have this dream and now..

Blogging is here for me finally. Blogging gives me a voice in the world, it gives me a way to say what I want to say in an effort to reach the people who are looking for what my words mean in their life to them. So they can determine the value and choose.

Yet because of the “Loner” name tag I wear it is uncomfortable for me to blog, to utilize social media to get business. I am torn between this and by my personal need and desire to be of service to others. To be in their lives and make a difference. To provide access to transformation. And my rule I set down for myself years ago.

Coming up for air now and even in writing this I am driven to write in the best way I know how to add value to your life, to let my passion win over my way of life as a loner. To be uncomfortable and just do it.
