Barack Obama,
Blog,
Blog Comments,
Blog marketing

Ask not what Obama can do for you, ask what can Obama do for your blog?
Love him or hate him, think he can do our US economy any good or not, there is one thing for sure, people and companies are cashing in on Obamanomics in a big way.
MSN Money Blog contributor Todd Harrison’s post(written by Minyanville Contributor Tal Pinchevsky) Obama swag stimulates economy shows a few examples of companies making it big and riding the “Obama is good for our bottom line” wave. Companies such as The New York Times, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Banana Republic and the list goes on.
With sold out copies of news papers, logo changes and even font following these are just a few examples. Last I looked Twitter listed him as having by far the largest following (though that is not an actual monetizer just yet but it is capital in tweetland)
Get yourself to start thinking out of the Oval and think about how you too can monetize your blog because of this history making president. I am sure he would be the first to say thank you for doing your part to stimulate our economy.
Ask yourself in what way can I tie into this trend with my blog and make it pay?
If nothing else he may add a few new readers to your blog just because you wrote a halfway decent post and used his name and maybe his picture…with a US flag
So put a pic of the prez in front of you and ask him to pony up for you and your blog.

Mr Tweet gets you followers
Mr Tweet looks through your extended network and suggests who you should be following. Who is connected that you want to follow and who on your list should you be following.
Follow Mr Tweet and in a few minutes you will get a DM (Direct message) back suggesting a list of 200 to follow.
Easy enough.
And if you want Mr Tweet to do the work of adding the people you select, you will get prompted to log in to twitter and then just make one click per add.
Simple enough.

Blog,
Free Press Release Sites
You can thank twitter for this post tonight, and thank twitter for delaying the post I had planed for you. But not to worry, I will not wait long to get to my original post idea.
Have you ever listened to a song and right away you knew from the first time you heard it you would like it and maybe even remember where you were when you heard it? That was the case when I heard Smooth by Santana with Rob Thomas. I was in TN on business at the time and the guy who was my boss had it playing on his laptop. I have never tired of hearing it.
So what does that have to do with this post and Twitter you ask? Tonight when I got back home from dinner and checked my email, in it was a note from Twitter that Marlon J. Broussard from 10arrowsConsulting.com was following me. So I clicked the link to see who this guy is and when I went to his blog it was like being back in TN and listening to Smooth for the very first time.
What I mean by that is Marlon had a post up that read “50 Web sites for getting free publicity for your business” (I replaced business with blog in my mind) He had my attention at that point and so I decided to read what Marlon had to say. What I found is a guy who is authentic, genuine and serious about bringing value to the people who he interacts with. He even gives you tips on how to save a ton of money by studying what the pros are doing. And his writing style makes for great content ( a hint on what I will be writing about in a couple days) and I am a fan of his already.
So do yourself a favor and check out Marlin’s post. I think you will be glad you did. If you do not want to do the work yourself for only $47.00 he will take care of it for you. Just so you know, I am not an affiliate, I just really like this guy’s style and think you will do good by going to his blog.
Psssst: I will add one more site for your consideration for free publicity as a bonus: http://www.italkblog.com leave a comment and you will have a PR-0 blog with your link on it, however iTalkBlog.com will not always be a PR-0, stick around and see for yourself.
You can watch Smooth on youtube here.
